    MOBIDZIENNIK

The project is addressed at students and teachers of partner institutions.

Students profile: aged 14-19 who come from various backgrounds and represent diversified sociological profiles: from high-fliers who have ambitions and drive as well as interests focused around the environment and social issues to students with smaller chances for success because they commute from remote villages, may suffer from mental issues, low self-esteem, low motivation, learning difficulties, depression, and other health impediments (e.g. amblyopia, Asperger syndrome). The students need to be activated and involved in more non-formal forms of education, to learn things by doing. They need variety and independence in the learning process. They need direct contacts with peers after COVID-19 and a greater variety of peer interaction - they need to learn to work as a unit also with peers from another country. Project groups will fall into categories: groups working at home schools, groups working via e-twinning, and groups taking part in mobilities. The groups will be formed on the basis of merit, academic achievements, ability to communicate in English, interests, and ambitions. The aim is to create mixed-ability teams which will also include less able students to give them a chance to participate and express themselves, and to give more able students the ability to develop empathy and patience for less gifted peers.

The mobility groups to Poland, Italy, and Brussels will include students and teachers from each partner school.

Students will work on a variety of tasks, e.g.:

  • School, town, and region presentations.
  • Preparing a booklet on emergency preparedness with instructions for our local community.
  • Making 'POLISH-ITALIAN NATURE SPOT'.
  • Designing information signs and posters about the necessity to save electricity.
  • Creating arts and crafts made from recycled materials.
  • Preparing Europe Day celebrations, etc.

Teachers will support the project on e.g.:

  • Assuring smooth communication.
  • Conducting workshops and discussion panels.
  • Preparing events on e.g. European heritage.
  • Assuring smooth functioning of technology, including building a project website.
